P/CLT Toh Pei Xuan & It’s CHRISTMAS!

Yes! I’m back from the 6th NCDCC CLT Course and had officially passed out as a Cadet Lieutenant. It’s not the end, but just the beginning! Glad to say that I got Best in Theory as well! It was indeed a tough & grueling 2.5 weeks of non-stop training & drilling. Physically & Mentally draining but it was all worth it. The good part of it is, many great experiences, enriching, fruitful & most of all, friendships. A picture speaks a thousand words. ;)

That’s all about my CLT Course. Now, it’s Christmas Eve!! So far, received a few presents and I’m thankful to those who gave. It truly made my day. ;)

Final Week!

This is the reason why I am so busy right now. It’s been 2 weeks of the course and 1 more week, we will be passing out (hopefully) as a Cadet Lieutenant. So far it’s been tough, mentally & physically straining & tiring. It’s really through God’s grace & strength, I pulled through so far. Honestly speaking, there are countless of times I felt like walking out of that door and give up.

It is really a life-time experience & truly, it moulds us to be a tougher & persevering leader. One of the best moments I had in this course so far, it’s during the Adventure Training Camp at Pulau Ubin. Climbing up the top of the the rock wall is never a thing that I could do so far. But nothing is impossible, through all the encouragements from the officers & peers, I broke through something that I can’t do till now, I victoriously smack the top hard & rejoice in the applause & cheering of everyone. I guess that became a drive for me in this course since then.

Holidays are getting busy and packed, especially with Christmas coming up, gonna be even busier. Enjoying all that I can the past few weeks, going out with friends, resting at home, bonding with my family and of course, going to church.

Recently celebrated my Grandmother’s birthday. It was like a gathering with my relatives. Had dinner together & they even sang Karaoke. Talking about Karaoke, I’m not a person into Karaoke. Yes I do sing, but not during Karaoke sessions which I don’t know why. haha, It’s just something that I don’t do. Had a great time chatting with my Bro, laughing & giggling at stuffs. Great bonding with him and I finally got a picture with him smiling really happily.

Another highlight will be the outings with my Sec 5 classmates. Most recently, we went to East Coast Park & caught a night movie, Unstoppable. The other time we went to Hort Park & Henderson’s wave for a walk and Marina Barrage to fly kite. It’s really fun to be with this group of friends, we laugh, we joke, we just let our hair down, relax and enjoy. Pictures we took at Marina Barrage:

Next up will be the NCDCC CLT Course. It’s gonna be physically & mentally challenging. 2 years ago, I was there at the 4th NCDCC CLT Course Passing-out-parade as the supporting contingent commander. It was then I was inspired and decided to signed up as a Cadet Lieutenant when I graduate from Secondary School.

1 year later in 2009, I signed up but sadly, got rejected because I was promoted to Sec 5, which makes me still a Secondary School student and not a graduate. Waited for another year which is this year 2010, I signed up again, went for the interview, and I passed it. In another 2 days time, I will be fighting the battle in Home Team Academy for 2/3 weeks and a 3-days Adventure Training Camp at NPCC Camp Resilience, Pulau Ubin.

The last time I went for a NCDCC Course is about 1 or nearly 2 years ago. And the last time I actually conducted a official training was nearly 1 year ago. It’s gonna be really tough time switching back to being a leader in NCDCC, teaching CD related skills & disciplining cadets. Just for the course briefing itself, I already feel the level of tension and pressure. What I really hope and pray for is God to be with me, his presence, direction, wisdom, strength and anointing, that’s all I need. I’m sure with God, all things are possible & I will be able to pull through this & shine for God.

Graduation Night 2010

This week had been a week of shopping & spending lots of money. The money that my mum & my aunt blessed me for my birthday is gone in a split second just for buying my grad night stuffs, my Eau de Toilette and going for a haircut at a well-known salon.

Grad night was held at Arena Country Club. It’s a nice and convenient place though, but I would very much prefer last year’s grad night at Pan Pacific Hotel. Just like usual, take pictures, enjoy the performances, catching up with friends and teachers.

And there comes the fun part of nominating the Prom King & Queen. I was happily sabo-ing my friends & when they announced the nominees, I got a shock of my life. Yes, I kena sabo-ed unknowingly. How nice ah? Got 2nd & a very malu time on stage. Well forget about all the embarrassment, time for the very nice peek-tures.

End of O’s & 17th

‘O’ level has officially ended, this means I have officially graduated from my secondary school. 5 years just for 3 weeks of intense stress & pressure is finally over. I happily walked out of my school compound after my last paper, tearing my entry proofs and thinking what to do next. Currently, I am still in the ‘cooling-off period’ because I still feel the exams pressure on me. Probably got to go out and chill out more to get that off me.

Last weekend, Yuhua NCDCC had their Annual Year-end Camp. Went there, took pictures, steal my cadet’s team flags (which they are supposed to protect), talk to my cadets, catch up with ‘old birds’ and ofcourse, enjoy. Campfire night was great, though it extinguishes fast because of the drizzling, but nonetheless, it was awesome.

This guy on the above picture is WO(NCDCC) Ben. Doesn’t he have the looks of being a SCDF Officer? haha.. Now many of my cadets have this picture on their Facebook Display Picture.

Also, I’ve officially turned 17. Thank you all for the wishes on Facebook, twitter, SMS and Yuhua NCDCC unit. And also for the gifts that I’ve received this year. Plus blessings from my Mum & Aunt.

The next ‘big thing’ for me is going be the Graduation night. It’s going to be this coming Friday and I’ve got what I wanted to wear. Keeping it simple and yet nice, anyway it’s held at a country club, so don’t have to dress till so nicely.

Lastly, I went to apply for a job at Toy ‘r’ Us yesterday. While waiting for the in-charge to call, I shall enjoy myself as much as I can.

It’s finally coming to an end!

Finally, Left with one last paper to the end of O level. After 5 years of hard work, it’s time for me to sit back and relax while I wait for the release of results.

Last week, I was helping out at Amber’s Subzone’s camp, ‘Live 4 Destiny’ at Changi Fairy Point 6. It was a super huge chalet and it was so isolated. It’s also very near to Old Changi Hospital, and for the first time, I actually see the building in my sight. Look’s creepy in the day, I think it’s even creepier at night. Went there for 3 days 2 nights to help out. Had a great time there shooting photos and videos while keeping a look out for the campers.

Next, another year of my life is passing and I’m turning 17 soon! Yes, while some of my friends are turning 18 in a few months time, I just gonna be 17. How sad, but I’m happy. Because God has a wonderful plan for every different ones of us! In the next 12 months before moving on to my 18th, I have a list of things that I wish I could get or it will come true! Praying hard for blessings after blessings.

Time flies and it’s already November! This means that in a weeks time, O level will officially end and it will be the time to PARTY! :)

October ended with Halloween, and this year, I went for a Halloween Party with my Subzone members. It was meant to scare us, but ended up laughing at one another. haha!

The month of October is also special because it’s my Bro’s Birthday! That day, we went for his army camp’s family engagement program and we celebrated his birthday at home!

Lastly, the month of November is going to be special because firstly, finally O level is coming to an end and also, I’m FINALLY turning 17. Yes, my friends are teasing me because I’m not yet 17. So, it’s finally gonna be my turn! And in about a year time, I will turn 18 and it will be my turn to get my driving license! November is going to be fun because that’s when I will go out and really enjoy myself all I want because my December is going to be really busy.

December is coming really soon and that means the long awaited NCDCC CLT Course is coming! The 1 whole year of waiting has finally drew nearer. It is also where I will turn fitter, tanner & more equipped than before. It will be tough, but it will be awesome.

But first of all, I’m going to go for one of the most excited subzone’s Camp….. Amber’s subzone, Live 4 Destiny! I will be multi-tasking. Enjoying, helping & studying. 4days3nights gonna be great. :)

Tomorrow is THE DAY! GCE ‘O’ level Science Practical is on tomorrow. Written paper will officially start next Monday, it will last for 3 weeks and the last paper will be on 12th November. Praying for more wisdom and grace. Pray that whatever I have studied, it will come out and I will not blank out. And all the questions that I do, I will be able to answer and score well.

Last Friday, it marks the last day of my entire secondary school term. The last day of being a official student in Yuhua. It was a great day, enjoyed our last moments together as a Class. The day where we bonded together and have fun.

Next, one question for all of you, have you tried KOI bubble tea? haha! Years ago, sweet talk was the most hottest bubble tea in town, and now, KOI has somehow taken over it. haha! In order to get a cup of KOI, you probably have to wait around 30mins or even longer. Unless you are really lucky, you can get it faster. The 1st time I tried, I drank Chocolate Milk tea, but after seeing my friends drinking Passion Fruit Ai-yu, I decided to try it. And till now, I always drink that whenever I go to KOI. :)

Being transferred to a EXPO Cell group is indeed a great blessing because I get to sit in the Delta Arena with really good views and nearer to the preacher. Thankful for my Cell group members who queued to book seats for us!

Comparing my prelim results and my mid-year result, I’ve shown improvements for my languages. Believing for better results for GCE ‘O’ level. :)

Recently, I got transferred to a new Cell Group. Being with W320 for about a year plus, I’m moving on to a next level. I’ve got transferred to N450, Sandy’s Cell Group. Moving out of my comfort zone and convenience because firstly, Cell Group meeting is no longer at Jurong West, but at Ang Mo Kio. Secondly, weekend Services are no longer at Jurong West, but at Singapore EXPO. I believe that greater breakthroughs are coming as I begin to move up a next level. Appreciate all the love from W320, they presented a Cross necklace as a farewell gift to me. Gonna miss them real lot.

45 Days to ‘O’ levels!

It’s been like about a month since I last blogged! There’s lot of things to update but will only update those that I remember. :)

1st up, my Cousin’s wedding lunch on 9th August! Yup, what a nice date to hold a wedding lunch! Get to meet up with my Relatives & spent most of my time playing with my nephew & nieces. Here are some photos I took that day. :)

Next, SOT Graduation Service! One of my fellow Cell Group member, Kai Xiang, who was once my Connect Group Leader, graduated with a Advanced Certificate of Theology! :)

Next, Teacher’s Day Celebration! This is my last Teacher’s Day Celebration at Yuhua Sec. My classmates did a great job & we all enjoyed ourselves! Though we have to watch the video over and over again for so many times, but it’s a joy to see our Teacher’s smiling! :)

Next, Amber’s Subzone WOW Award event! It was a fun-filled event! With Drama & our very subzone band! Never did I expected, it was my last event in Amber’s Subzone. Aww..

Next, the long awaited, CHOIR OUTING! We went to Pasir Ris park, played station games & had buffet dinner! It was super awesome! Can’t wait for the next one. :)

Lastly, the 4th NCDCC UDI POP! Glad to see my Cadet’s passing out as UDI yesterday! As of this date, this is the 3rd Generation of UDI in Yuhua NCDCC Unit! And I’m honored & privileged to be the 1st Generation. :)

Been really busy and finally got the time to update my blog. It’s about 81 more day to GCE ‘O’ level, homework and revisions are piling up.

In July, I went for my 1st Blood Donation Drive. It’s my 1st time donating blood, it went pretty well, it wasn’t painful at all. But I feel uneasy after donating blood, probably because it’s my 1st time. Here’s some photos:

After blood donation, I went to Padang to watch the NDP 2010 NE Show 2 with Louis and some juniors. Met Amen & 1 NCDCC Cadet before entering. Overall it was good, as usual, my favorite segment was the Parade. It was so much interesting because I am familiar with most of the commands and I could understand them. I borrowed a Canon zoom lens (75mm-300mm) from Chen Guo, it was total awesome! It has helped me to able to take closed up photos and at the same time, good quality! :) Here’s some photos:

Next up was the 2nd Yuhua NCDCC POP 2010. It was my OFFICIAL Passing-Out-Parade, as I stayed in Sec 5, I was only considered as half-passed-out last year. Finally the day has come, which marks the end of my 5 years of NCDCC Service in Yuhua. I went for the 6th NCDCC CLT course interview, awaiting for the results now, hopefully I could get in and continue my service in Yuhua NCDCC. :) Here’s some photos:

Lastly, It was once again the Festival of Praise & CHC 21st Anniversary service last weekend! FOP was a blast! They invited Planetshakers and Don Moen, they totally brought the house down! Rev. Che Ahn also brought fourth a awesome word, his testimony is encouraging and inspiring!

CHC 21st Anniversary service was awesome too! I was involved in the Flash Mob segment, yea, those people that suddenly pop out from no where and starts to join in dancing. Danced along with God of my Life, it was fun and awesome! One of the best thing was to have Sun with us this anniversary service! Also, to have Ps. Kong & Ps. Phil preaching the Word of God. God is good throughout this 21 years, I’m so privilege and honored to be part of this wonderful church! That day, I also met 2 of my twitter/facebook friends! They are Jean & Chen Ee! God is good! :)

Busy month

Haven’t been blogging for about a month. This month had been very busy, Especially for this week. Few weeks ago, I went to tour around the city area together with my Best friend, Feng ying. We went to Bugis, took the Circle line to Promenade station, Singapore Flyers and to Suntec city for dinner at Pepper Lunch. Photos are uploaded on Facebook.

Also, I’m back with the Yuhua Harmonica Band to compete in the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival 2010. Everything went well, songs are challenging but they are awesome pieces. The festival is going to be held for roughly about 5days at Suntec Convention Centre. And yes! I am excited because it held at the promise land of CHC! How awesome is that! Competition day is on the 2nd August. It’s going to be great!

For the past 2 weeks, I had been cracking my head to make decision on what courses I wanted to study in Polytechnic because the Poly had offered ‘O’ level students with the opportunity to grab a place even before we sit for our ‘O’ level. This is called the Direct Poly Admission. I’ve made up my mind and submitted the application on Monday after seeking advices from my teachers and brother. Here’s my choices:

1st Choice: Business Administration (Singapore Poly)

2nd Choice: Human Resources Management with Psychology (Singapore Poly)

3rd Choice: Business Studies (Ngee Ann Poly)

Praying hard that my application will be successful. However, even if I fail the DPA, I can try the Joint-Poly Special Admission Exercise (JPSAE) which is specially opened to students who have talents and high leadership quality. And that, I fulfill the criteria of having high leadership quality! Shall keep believing and trusting God for open doors!

Yesterday was a nervous day for me. It was the NCDCC CLT Course interview. Man, it was really like a Oral examination. It involves lots of thinking and quick answering. What’s more, the interviewers are new officers which during my time of SNCO & UDI courses, they are not in NCDCC yet. Which means, the interview is really important because it is the 1st impression that counts! After 1 year of waiting, I’m really praying that God will help me fulfill this small little dream of continuing my service in NCDCC.

Today, had my ‘O’ level Food & Nutrition Experiment Practical Examinations. Was a little lost at the start, but slowly picked up and managed to do it quite well! :) Also, I had the opportunity to attend NDP NE Show 2 this Saturday! One of my cadets gave 1 ticket to me! I’m very proud of my Cadets who are marching in the NCDCC Contingent, and its going to be awesome to see them marching live! It’s been about 4 years since I last went to watch NDP. Although this might be only NE Show, but its still going to be great!

I also realized that Facebook and Twitter is a place where I really meet new friends! Especially people from my church, but different Zones & Cell groups. As you know, CHC has 30,000 over members and its so hard to know ever single member. And it is great to meet new people online! People like Joseph, Chen Ee, Elijah and Jean! Its really amazing on how this social networks can bring people together!

To conclude, this whole month is really a tough month for me. Going through so many things, ups and downs. Lots of thinking and reflection. This reminds me that people will fail you, but God will not. If not for God’s love, comfort and grace, I might have just dried up. It is where I go through the growth process of learning to be even more humble and waiting upon the Lord. I learned that getting to the positions and desires that you want is not important, but God has planned a time for everything. If it is his will, it will be done. I got to keep persevering, keep on keeping on.

All right, time to turn in, got to rest well and keep going on! :)

Camp Delirious!

It’s been an adventurous week for me and I enjoyed myself very much. Starting from last Saturday, went out for dinner with one of my close friend. It was my first time visiting Jurong Hilltop, which is above Jurong Bird Park. Yes, I felt like a tourist. haha.

Sunday, Service with Ps. Derek. Powerful message that really encourages us. Monday, my Bro’s enlistment day. Went into Pulau Tekong, toured around, had lunch with my Bro before He starts his 2weeks training. Kind of missing Him, but He will be back next Wednesday. :)

Wednesday, went out with Feng ying. Went for swimming and dinner. It was a awesome time catching up with Her. Some pictures we took that day.

Thursday and Friday was Camp Delirious. It was a day camp and it was absolutely fun. I was in Team Fire. Met many great people and new friends. Day 2 was the most awesome day, because we went to the Adventure Park at Dairy Farm. I went there for my Sec 2 camp in 2007. It was great to be back there. Took some photos as well. Also at the adventure park, I once again conquered the challenge pole, which I once conquered it at Pulau Ubin in 2009, the last 2 photographs is taken in 2009.

One of the happiest thing that happened this weekend is to see Ps. Kong back in church. I’m thankful that I went for Service 2, and managed to get a awesome seat, at Delta 1st row. It was where I had a opportunity to see him, because at that moment, everyone was standing up, hence, not all of the congregation managed to see him. And I’m privileged to be able to see him. Though He might be going through this tough times, he still puts a smile on his face when He walks past. I really admire His faith and courage. Truly, He is a great man of Faith, and great man of God.

Currently I’m down with Virus Infection. After I went home from Service 2 on Saturday night, I’m down with High Fever. Seen a doctor on Sunday morning. So far the fever has subside, but I’m not allowed to go anyway to prevent the virus from spreading. So yea, shall post again soon. :)

Busy busy busy..

Have been real busy this week. Although our June holiday break has started, but there’s lessons everyday from 8am-5.30pm . Mainly to focus on Food & Nutrition. Just today, the Intensive F&N is from 11am-5.30pm! This is the life of GCE ‘O’ level students! Thank God for my laptop, my best companion during this ‘crucial’ time, because it provides me with great music & entertainment when I am very stressed or pressured. Not forgetting good friends around me who encourages and made my day! One of them is Bay Louis, my classmate since Sec 3! We have been sitting side by side in the com lab for the past 4 days, “slaying the giant” together! But there’s time where we go crazy? haha! Here’s the laptop buddy!

Though I am very cropped up with school work, I still follow the news very closely to update myself on the happenings. I am rather very excited for this weekend. Especially after we got “free publicity”, I believe many people are going to come this weekend to “visit” the church. Believing for a great move of God this weekend and pray that the people who come will be touched by the Love of God and our love for them. City Harvest Church is a church that LOVES! We Love because He first Love us. We Love God Wholeheartedly and Love People Fervently.

Tomorrow is going to be rest day for me. Yes, like finally. I still have yet to recover from the Post-Asia Conference Syndrome, feeling as if I am suffering from Jet Lag. Waking up early, traveling to-and-fro Singapore EXPO, queuing for seats, singing praise & worship several times, listening to the word of God from various speaker, missing my meals, going home late. I totally lost the time during the conference. Time to take a good sleep tomorrow so I could get used to my usual daily activities. Meeting with one of my good friend tomorrow as well. Its been a while since we met and went out!

Alright, time to focus and concentrate in my work. :)

Asia Conference & CGI 2010 had ended 3 days ago. It was a mind blowing conference. Many great speakers like Ps. Kong Hee, Ps. Yonggi-Cho, Ps. AR Bernard, Ps. Phil Pringle, Ps. Reinhard Bonnke, Ps. John Avanzini, Ps. Steve Munsey and many more were there to speak and impart bible knowledge to the people in Asia. It was more than just awesome. The great sessions, electives and performances just brought the house down. I can’t wait for Asia Conference 2012!

The day after Asia Conference, things began to happen to City Harvest Church. The Police probed 17 linked to City Harvest Church for investigation for alleged misused of church funds. One of them is our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Kong Hee. When I heard of the news, I was shocked and upset. However, I’m not upset with the church, but with the authorities and the person who accused our church leadership.

Just by this, our church has been hitting the headlines of websites, forums, news and newspapers. In the papers it wrote that Ps. Kong was being woke up at 6.30am in the morning after the finale night of AC and was brought back for investigation, for at least 18hrs. I went speechless and broke down into tears after reading it. It was so heart wrenching to see what’s happening, though I know we will be fine and we will overcome this.

On the Chinese papers, there were at least 3 pages of article reporting about this. Some information was even inaccurate. In the midst of being upset and worried, I am very grateful to my friends who are from different domination or they are unbelievers who are standing with us as well. People like Sheng Yong, whom I brought him to church before and is a atheist, he told me he believes in us. This is the kind of world that we want to live in, where people trust each other, no matter what race or religion, we are still all humans.

Most importantly, I trust and have confident in my own Senior Pastor and church. I started attending church since primary school. And if not for Ps. Kong, I wouldn’t be back in church last year after backsliding and being a irregular for at least 2 years or so. Ps. Kong & Sun are amazing people. If you have once talked to them, you will know how they relate to others.

I remember in December last year, during the appreciation night, I sat on the choir stand, watching & listening to Ps. Kong & Sun sharing their thoughts and feelings while their eyes filled with tears. The kind of feelings is indescribable. Clicking and looking back at their replies to my facebook messages and tweets makes me feel so heart warming and encouraging. Though the church has so many members, but they tried their best to connect to each and every one of us through facebook and twitter.

Ps. Kong & Sun can easily just give up on all this things, but it is their love for God and the people, that they endure and come fourth as gold. If not for the sacrifices made by the 2 of them, we will not have come through 21 years of ups and downs, and I might not be saved now. There are just too many good things to share about them. After thinking for quite a while, I can really call them my Spiritual parents. They are my inspiration and motivation. I admire their faith and courage. I love them like how I love my parents.

No matter what happens, I will stand by my Church, Ps. Kong & Sun. We will overcome this together. For as we endures, we will come fourth as gold. My love and trust for them is too great to explain. I Love you Pst & Sun!

Just completed my Mid-Year Examinations and today is marking day! That explains why I am still up at this timing and not in bed. Came back home at 10am and literately sleep throughout the day till 6pm because I was so tired from the weekends. Bye to MYE and Hello to GCE ‘O’ level & Prelims.

Asia Conference is coming up in 7 days time! I’m absolutely looking forward to this event because it’s my first time, so I’m really excited for it! Basically going for all the sessions except for Day 2 because my Bro is graduating from his Diploma course that day and I have to attend the graduation ceremony. Signed up for 2 electives, Dramatized preaching with Dr. Steve Munsey and Women’s ministry with Beverley Wolmarans. Its going to be Power-packed!

Because of AC, one of my wishes is coming true. The Conference pack this year is a Bible cover with notebook and pen in it. That’s what I wanted for very long time! Finally a Bible Cover! I’ll pray that I will be blessed with a Leather NKJV Big Print Bible soon! We are collecting our Tags and Conference pack this weekend after service. Looking forward to it!

One more thing I’m excited about AC is to meet people from all over the world! It’s gonna be really awesome!

On Sunday, went to Home Team Convention at Suntec Convention Centre. Walked over to the NCDCC Booth and met MAJ Yasmin & Encik David. After so long, I am still known as the poster girl. haha! While I was about to go back, bumped into Tariq & Jerome, went for dinner with them and it was great catching up with them.

Revamped Blog!

Finally revamped my blog to something more original as compared to my past few blog skins. I just switch to the new blogger template and it’s really fun with all those widgets and stuffs.

Haven’t been blogging for the past 1 month and it’s been a busy month for me. Currently I’m having my Mid-year Examinations. After which will be GCE ‘O’ level Mother Tongue paper on 31st May.

Asia Conference is coming up in 2 weeks time, Ps. Kong was talking about it last weekend! I’m so excited and its gonna be so awesome! Previously, I signed up for City Harvest’s Got Talent, didn’t get through the auditions though. But I’m glad that W320 Captain’s ball team is in the semi-finals! We are fighting against other teams this Saturday and that will determine if we are going into the finals.

The Previous weekend on Saturday, I went for Service 2 @ EXPO. And Sun was back in church! I’m very inspired by her, She is just so Anointed! Took a picture with Her. This is my 2nd picture taken with Sun. 1st one was during Christmas last year.

Its been 3 weeks since I last blogged. And its the start of a new month, April. This also marks the end of a quarter of the year.

2 weeks ago during the 1st semester break, I went on holiday to Genting with my family. It was just so great! Spent quality time with my parents, brother and 2 aunts. Also, took a break from the things that are happening. While enjoying and resting, my heart is in Singapore, at City Harvest Church! Thinking about the meetings with Ps. Kong and Ps. Derek.

One of the days of the semester break, I went to Sentosa with one of my friend. Had a awesome time there. Though the rain spoils the fun a little, but I still had great fun! Tried Megazip, the flying fox that linked from the hilltop to the small island at Siloso beach. And also Luge. It was like FINALLY, because I had the Luge shirt that says, “Once is never enough!” But I had never tried it before. Funny isn’t? Haha. Took the shuttle bus and “tour-ed” around Sentosa because we really don’t know where to go. Then we went into Universal Studio, and watched fireworks. It was a long wait, but all worth while. It was one of the greatest time I’ve ever had so far! Though it was a little weird, but really enjoyed my time! One lesson learnt from this trip, “Singaporean must be brave!” haha!

Last Friday was the school speech day. My cadets were involved in the parade. Organized a footdrill training for my cadets, glad they made improvements after that session. At least I felt more better when I see things getting better. :)

Lastly, shall not forget about this week! It is Good Friday! The day when Jesus died on the cross for all mankind 2000 years ago, and 3 days later, he resurrected! He is the reason for the season! Had a great service over at Jurong West in the afternoon, though Ps. Kong wasn’t able to rushed back in time, we still had a great service with Ps. Tan! Drama was awesome and the atmosphere was just great! It was jammed packed at JW! Could hardly see any gaps between the aisle! Even the overflow rooms are full! 4 more services to go over the next 2 days at EXPO! Going to gear myself to serve the most high God on stage! It could be tiring to serve 5 out of 7 services during Easter, but It cannot be compared with the sacrifices made by Jesus. Its my privilege to serve the most high God! Let us all usher in the Great Harvest! He is alive! He is Alive! Have a great Easter Celebration! God Bless!

Term 1 Holiday

Its the end of Term 1 of school, and the 1 week holiday is here! Praise the Lord! Will be travelling to Genting Highlands with my family for 3 days. Its gonna be awesome time together.

In exchange of that, is missing 2 important meetings. 1st the Youth Conference on Monday with Ps. Kong and 2nd, a meeting with Ps. Derek. 2 awesome meetings but I have to miss it. Especially the Youth Conference. What a miss!

Yesterday was my Last sports day in Yuhua Sec. And I won my 1st medal after 10 years of sports day in Primary and Secondary school. 3rd in Javelin for Sec 4/5. Took some pictures and the 1st one on top was the nicest. :)

CHC Promised Land! CHC Promised Land!

Like what the Bible says in Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.” and in Matthew 7:8, “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

After many years, after many plots of land, God finally gave us the promised land! It’s really in the Marketplace, For the Marketplace, To Penetrate the Marketplace!Though It was unexpected, cause I didn’t thought that it will be there, but I am still glad and happy that we finally got our Land! Now City Harvest Church is one of the Shareholders of the place! How awesome is it!

CHC Promised Land has been confirmed, and it will be at The Suntec City Convention Centre! It’s hard to describe the whole plan of it. But it will be awesome. The main important hall will be located at the 6th and 7th floor. It will be the main auditorium of CHC! Where the main service will be held! Can’t wait to rock Suntec City!

This weekend is also a special weekend for me! Because it marks my 1st year back in church! God had been the same yesterday, today and forever! I’m greatly touched and transformed by God in this 1 year! I believe there are more breakthroughs to come in future! Thank God and Ps. Kong, Sun and Ps. Audrey!

I’m so excited for tomorrow service where I will sit in service myself to hear the good news! Also, Sun is back this weekend! Hoping to see her soon! Thank God for all the great things, and pray that more will come! :)

No Boundaries

Had been thinking alot for the past few days. Thinking about family, personal life, church ministry, NCDCC and studies.

Rising up is one of the things that I’ve been thinking about since the day where I am given the opportunity to serve in Cellgroup. God has been speaking to me, through people, bible, sermons, songs. But I’m always hesitating, looking back, so many doubts and fear.

Having the dream to one day becoming one of the leaders in church, to be more specific, rising up as a Pastor one day. I really got to be like David, pick up the stones to defeat my Goliath in life.

NCDCC had been part of my life for the past 4 years. Came through thick and thin, tears and joy till this day. Looking at my cohort, potential leaders are already a CLT, while looking at myself, still a Warrant Officer, a typical student in a neighborhood secondary school.

However, Like what Shengyong once told me, “I am a born NCDCC person.” And Afri, “Toh Pei Xuan you're gifted with the charisma and the ability to lead others. You stand out in the crowd with that commanding voice of yours. And best of all, you donn the Civil Defence uniform, signifying your pride of your achievements in the 4 years. We miss you.”

Hence, I had finally made up my mind, to once again, against all odds, to stand out from the crowd to learn, lead and serve. Upon completion of my GCE ‘O’ level in November, I will enroll myself into the NCDCC CLT course. Praying that I will get be chosen and successfully passed out as a CLT by the end of this year.

Chinese New Year

Its a new month of 2010 and Chinese new year is around the corners. Bought new clothes for Chinese new year, will post on them after CNY, not going to reveal the pictures of what I’m wearing first.1st day of CNY is going to be at my house for my mum’s side relatives. And most of them are Christian, even my grandma, Praise the lord! Its a long time since I hang out with my cousins, except during Chinese new year. We used to go grandma’s place every Sunday when we were young, but now, we only meet each other probably once in a year during Chinese new year. Really miss those good times.

Yesterday morning, went to suntan at SAF Yacht Club with EO. The place was really nice, and the sky was awesome. Nice scenery, sea breeze, blazing sun, Clear blue sky, no boundaries, peaceful surrounding, awesome music hits from 98.7fm. Great time spent there, chat with EO, sun tanned but Thank God I’m not burnt.

Went back to the West for CG. It was awesome, made Tang Yuan. Attended service today, Rev. Dr. Paul Scanlon shared a awesome message that really encourages me. Especially the offering message. I am privilege and honored to be the season ticket holder of City Harvest Church.

Building fund is coming right after Chinese New Year. Going to be excited about it! Its finally my time to share the equal sacrifices with the church. Going to be disciplined in saving money from my own pocket money and sow it into the kingdom of God. Believing that even that I had no money left to eat, God is going to provide for me. For as you sow abundantly, you will also reap abundantly.

How great is our God. Been in church since 2003. Attended CCH from 2003-2005, backslide, attended English Service irregular from 2006-2007, back in church from march 2009 till today. Its the 11th month that I am back. So glad to be back, I believe God called me back for a purpose, and in the right time. In time for a ministry, for Building fund, for a new building, to celebrate the years of CHC, Asia Conference & CGI. Isn’t it awesome? In a months time, it will be coming to a year. Great is our God, I will never let you go.

Finally got the time to update my blog! Its already the 3rd week of 2010! So far school is going fine, my new class this year, 5N1, is far better as compared to last year. Why? Because almost all the distractive classmates are out, leaving all those who are serious in studying for GCE ‘O’ level. As such, class became a very condusive environment for studying! :)

So far I’m doing well in my studies. Trying to catch up and discipline myself to study smart. Many things have been happening for the past 1month since Christmas till now. To make it short, shall not elaborate much, Pictures speaks louder then words!

Thanksgiving Cellgroup 2009, Got 2 awards! Prayer Warrior & Early Bird. All Glory to God! :)

The last thing I’m going blogged about, is the greatest news ever! And it is no other than City Harvest Church New Land! Praise the lord! I was so elated last weekend! When I see Ps. Kong’s tweet (Awesome time at Jurong West S1. Told them the great news. People were laughing, crying, clapping. A new day for CHC ...) on Saturday, I knew and I knew that the day has finally arrived! :) When I heard it myself on Sunday, I was so excited! When I was holding my offering and praying, I was so moved by the presence of God, my tears almost fell down my eyes. And I can’t wait for Arise & Build!

CHC appeared on the Tuesday Straits time, regarding the Expansion Plan. http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_478770.html   This entire project is going to cost $310m, which isn’t a small sum of money. And so, for the next 7-8 years, there will be Arise & Build going on for 6months in every year. I am very excited for it because I wasn’t that privileged to be born earlier and be part of the pioneers, who really sacrificed alot for the past 20 years of CHC, and this is the time I can sacrifice for the kingdom of God. :)

Time flies really fast, and its already Christmas Eve! I don't know about all of you, but to me, its been a great year for me! Though there were many ups and downs, but its still a really awesome year. One of the greatest year I've ever been through!

A couple of things I'm really thankful for year 2009! And I decided to post about all this after I seen Samuel Soo's blog. I think it will be nice to summarise everything here!

3. Reconcilation of friendship with my Past Children Church Teachers
4. Knowing great leaders in church
5. Knowing new friends and strengthen friendships
6. Being part of the City Harvest Church Choir Ministry
7. Improving in guitar & singing skills
8. Unexpected GCE 'N' level results

In 2008, during the christmas eve and christmas day, I am home, watching the live webcast of City Harvest Church christmas services. After backsliding for a few years, I never expected myself to be touch by the Lord once again and wanted to come back to church. From then on, I kept watching the live webcast, till in febuary, I decided I wanted to go back to church.

In March, I approached someone, through facebook messages. And Thank God for such a great man of God, who lives by what he preached. He got Pastor Audrey to contact me, and I was then introduced to W320. Ever Since March 8 till now, I am still happily attending this awesome church that I attended since young and the awesome Cellgroup, W320!

Recently, I am also glad that the friendship between me and my 2 children church teachers had been recounciled. Thank God for this great opportunities to once again, talk to them and see them often in church. I remembered, I backslided just because my teachers told me to change my attitude. Looking back, I think I am so childish to do that. But now, I realise all those are called Discipleship. Then on, I am always very serious about being discipled, and I Thank God I am discipled.

Though I attended the english service from 2006-2007 irregularly, I wasn't so aware of the leadership of our church. At those time, I don't even know that I was listening to Ps. Kong's sermon every week in church! Haha! But Thank God, now I get to know most of the leadership in church, and I am aware of the Pastorals in church.

Recently, in fact just last thursday, I've gotten back my GCE 'N' level results. I wasn't
expecting any good results, as I think I did really badly. But by the grace of God, I not just managed to pass, but I also managed to score well! Here is my results for GCE 'N' level,
English: B3
Math: B4
Combined Humalities(SS/Geog): B4
Combined Science(Phy/Chem): B3
Food & Nutrition: B3
Mother Tongue(Chinese): A2
Mother Tongue(Oral/Aural): Distinction
Total EMB3: 16 Points

Never Expected myself to do so well, and I even got a Distinction for my Chinese Oral. Praise God & Thank God for such a wonderful results. Hence for this, I am given the application form to continue my secondary education to take my GCE 'O' level next year. Results of the application will be out later in the afternoon! Pray that I will get through. :)

Lastly, I want to post my thanks to some people who had make a differences in my life in 2009!

Pastor Kong: Without Pastor, I don't think I will be back in church yet! And without his inspiration, encouragements, awesome messages every weekend, I wouldn't have pulled through this awesome year! Thanks Pastor Kong!

Sun: Without Sun, the door of cultural mandate would probably still be shut. But thank God for Pastor Kong's revelation and Sun's sacrifices that today, the door of cultural mandate is open. And after seeing people, getting touch by what Sun had been doing, I am so inspired to do greater things for our God!

Pastor Audrey: Without Pastor Audrey, I wouldn't have been introduced to such a awesome cellgroup that I am still attending till this day! Pastor Audrey is one of the most caring and friendly person I've ever met!

Edmund Tay: Without Brother Edmund, there wouldn't be ET Zone! This great family had been a blessing to me, I get to meet many friends through the awesome camps! And I never fail to enjoy the Bible study given by brother edmund! Its full of enjoyment and impartation!

Belle: Belle had been great Choir leader and inspiration to me! Her passion towards singing and serving God, really inspires me to serve God through singing.

Amber: Amber is the most awesome cellgroup leader I've ever had! Even though she might be busy with her work in church, she still tries her best to spend as much time with us. I remember the 1st time I met her on march 8, the 1st thing she ask me, guess how old is she. haha! Funny times. I Thank God for placing her in my life, discipling me to be a great women of God. She never fails to encourage me to do better! Thanks Amber!

Ernest: Without Ernest, I wouldn't have know so much funny jokes! hahha! Though I only met him during my NCDCC USAR Course last year, he never fails to be a great friend of mine! He is truly a man of blessings. Though he isn't a christian, but he always bless me with my favourite, food. haha. When I feel alittle upset or down, after chatting with him, I am full of smiles and laughter! Its great knowing him! :)

Samuel Soo: One of my bestest friend in subzone! Though I only met him this year, in fact, only after june, he's been a great friend to me! He is a person who I can share my thought with, also someone who I can ask help for regarding guitar stuffs.

T. Aiwei & T. Frank: The 2 great children church teachers! Thank God for placing them in my life. And its great seeing them in church after I backslide for sometime. Its also great to once again, talk to them after so long. Thanks for tolerating my nonsense when I was young! :)

Its about 1 month since I last blogged. Many things has been happening throughout this one month. I started working at St. Regis Hotel Singapore as a service staff. Tiring but I'm glad I am able to earn extra cash for myself.

Had also started having Bible Study with ZS Edmund Tay on Getting Started book. Nearly finished the whole book, left with 1 more topic, which will be covered today. What a great ending for 2009! :)

Few weeks ago, Pastor Kong went on a 21-day fast, he wrote a blog on The Power Of Fasting : http://www.konghee.com/www/2009/12/power-of-fasting/
It truly inspired me to fast after seeing this blog post. And in the last 2 services that he preached, he first lay hands on the Cell Group Leaders, followed by the Connect Group Leaders on the following services. And from my seat, I can sense the power of anointing carried by Pastor Kong, it was just so awesome.

For this season of Christmas, I'm also privilege to be serving the choir as a guitarist for church carolings. Had been practising as much as I could, to absorb and master as much skills I could to make the caroling a resounding success. So far, I had received a number of comments on my hard work, even though I still feel that I'm not there yet, but I Thank God for encouraging comments given.

Other then that, I've also started serving all the English Services during the weekend, last week was my 1st time, rushing from S1-S2, from S3-S4. It was fun but tiring. But Thank God for the opportunity to serve him. Pastor Kong had also invited Shawn Lee, from CHCKL, to our church to perform last weekend. He is a World Rank #9, Malaysia Rank #1 Beat-Boxer. His beat-boxing skills really amazed me, he is awesome.

We also had our ET Zone youth camp not long ago. Its called Camp Believe. Though it was a day camp, but we had lots of fun. We went to dragon boat at Kallang on the 2nd day! And it was so fun! Its my 2nd time dragon boating. And the night sessions with Brother Edmund was awesome. Power of God was strong on the 2 nights.

Recently, I also had my breakthrough, which is fasting for 24 hours. Never knew that I could do it, but with God, all things are possible. I did it on the day of ET Zone Overnight prayer meeting. I could say its really hard to fast that day, because everyone was tired and hungry. But I remind myself, Pray & Fast is essential, Don't break it till 7am. And I really did it! Praise God!

In another 2 days time, on Friday, It will be the GCE 'N' level results release. Will blog and tweet about it when I get my results. I shan't think too much about it, because I have done my part. I believe God will do his part as well. Pray that my results will turn out to be better and meet the citeria of going to sec 5 or Higher nitec of ITE.

Back to post some recent happenings. The week was awesome. Wednesday, went to Jurong Point with my Mum to buy my Graduation night wear. Bought most of my stuffs from 77th street and a pair of flats from a shoe shop. Total up, the whole set cost nearly $100.

Thursday, went to SAFRA Jurong for lunch with Ernest, had a good time of chat and he dropped me off at boon lay interchange. Took bus to Jurong West Recreation Centre, went to gym for about an hour and head home after that.

Friday, Graduation night at Pan Pacific Hotel. Thank God for Joyce's Dad. He drove us there and praise God that we are early, if not, we might be not be able to pass through due to the road block for APEC at Suntec Convention. Had a awesome and wonderful time with my school mates. When they show the montage of 2006-2009, man, I feel so teary. It was such a memorable time in school. Food was so great there, yummy and delicious. Joyce's Dad came to fetch us back after. It was about 11.30pm and I was counting down in the car. When it hits 10:59:50pm, I was counting and Bang! I'm 16 years old! :) Went home, excited and replying all the wishes from family and friends. Webcam with Ernest and went to bed.

Saturday, woke up and went for Cell Group, celebrated my birthday there and went to Jurong Point for dinner. Head home to rest and prepared for Sunday.

Sunday, woke up at 5am, meet up with Joyce, bought breakfast and head to EXPO by MRT. Reach there early, had our breakfast while waiting. Vocal warm-ups, sound checks and touch up. Was kind of Surprised by Veroy, he came to wish me Happy Birthday, and it was so unexpected. And as usual, while doing touch-up, Ps. Kong came and all of us at the conference room area greeted him. Service started, had a awesome praise & worship. Rush down to JW by Benedict's car. Serve and attended service. Ps. Kong's message never failed to inspired me to do greater things. It was a powerful sermon on dreams. Fellowship, learned some guitar skills from Joshua Goh and head home.

Monday, Spend almost the whole day resting. Hence, it cause me to be awake from evening till now. Just webcam with Ernest, who is at Abu Dhabi now on MSN not long ago.

Post 16th Birthday

Its getting closer and closer to my 16th Birthday! Celebrated my birthday with the subzone during the School's Out Parties' In event. Its my 1st birthday celebration with the subzone.

There were many November Babies that day.. Including our subzone leader, my cellgroup leader, Amber Tan!

Many things were happening this few weeks, will just update a few of them. Had been serving in weekend service for choir for quite a long time, just moved to EXPO for a few weeks. I've been started to serve S3 and s4 on Sundays. Its tired moving from West to East and East to West in the morning, But serving God is a different thing, even if I am tired, I still enjoyed serving the most high God, and I'm privileged to be serving in a stage ministry.

Next, is getting a chance to meet my children church teachers again. I came a long way, before I get on my courage to even say hi to them. After so many years, I'm glad that I still get to meet them, even though after so many things that happened. Thank God for the courage. :)

Thirdly, The job that I found previously was unstable, so I stopped working after once. Currently, I have many choices of work. 1 was a recommendation from Zhou yan, to work at St. Regis Hotel as a waitress. The pay is pretty good, timing is flexible. Next, was from Joyce, her classmate's mum recommended her to go work at Pan Pacific's bakery, pay was good too, but time is tight and long. Third, was the most wanted and desired Job I wanted, finally got Joshua Goh to ask for us, it was a job at Ps. K & Sun's boutique shops, Skin Couture, EdHardy and Christian Audigier. I don't mine the pay and time of the job, because I believe God will make it negotiable for us. :) Hoping to work soon and earn some money.

Its about 2 weeks that my 'N' level had ended, and I'm still lazing around at home when many of my classmates and friends who ended thier 'N' are already working for 2 weeks, earning hundreds of dollars. Been searching for jobs, found 1 as a sales promoter, but its not for me, I would say that I'm not really into sales line, but I am more into F&B and retail? Thank God for Zhou Yan, who actually already started asking me way before I ended school to work with her at St. Regis Hotel as a waitress. Rejected her for a number of times, but it seems that I like the job pretty much now. However, I still got to wait for 2 more weeks. Why? Because I must be at least 16 years old before I could apply for the job. And my birthday is just 2 weeks away. Which means, I will be lazing around till after my Grad night and my birthday before I start to work hard and earn some money. One bad thing is, I will be fighting for job opportunities with the 'O' level students as they will also be waiting for their results by then. But I'm believing that God is going to provide me with the job. :)

Last Tuesday, went to school in the morning for a video interview with NCDCC HQ, came back, and went out with my mum, actually to buy durian because I was craving for it, but I ended up at the Salon, and guess what I did to my hair? I highlighted it. Many say it looks nice on me. And conclusion of the day, Went out with a black hair, came back with a highlighted hair. NICE. :)

Last weekend was a very busy weekend. Throughout my saturday and sunday, I've been travelling and rushing from West to East and East to West for 3 times. On saturday, rush down to the airport to send Amber and Michael off to Indonesia, rush came back to Jurong to serve S1. On Sunday, rush down to EXPO by my brother's car to serve S3, rush back down to Jurong with choir peeps on a mini chartered bus to serve S4. It was a great experience of how it felt like rushing from West to East and East to West like how normally how the Pastors who are speaking for that weekend rush from place to place. It was kind of tired but its really cool. :)

Recently I just updated my dreams and desire list on my blog, and one of them is a DSLR. Ever since a few years back, I grow a interest in photography after attending a Canon photography workshop. But never got a chance to hold on a good camera, not even a digital camera. Even thought my previous handphone have a camera, but its only 3.2 megapixel, and that's like the maximum it can go for handphones in few year back.

Finally at the end of the 2008 before my 2 overseas trip to Hangzhou and Hongkong, I've gotten hold of a 8.1 Megapixel Fujifilm digital camera. And few months back, I got my new phone, Samsung Omnia that have a camera that is 5 megapixel.

After seeing so many people holding on to a more professional camera, DSLR. It caught hold of my eye in those cameras. One thing I like about DSLR, is the number of modes and the shutter speed it have. And I told my dad about it, but he isn't very happy, because a DSLR can cost up to 1K or even more expensive. And further more, your pockets must be wide open if you have the intention to invest on the various lenses to create a better effect on your photographs.

Finally after talking so much about it, my Dad brought me to Jurong Point last Saturday to take a look. It was rather disappointing, because I thought I will be happily carrying it back home after the trip. But no I didn't. My dad said that it was too expensive and why do I need such a good camera for? But nevertheless, I didn't change my mind to forget about it. But I trust in the lord that with his riches and glory, I am able to have it.

Still feeling disappointed and down, I went on going to church for services, putting on a wide smile to everyone and to the lord. Serve on the choir platform for 2 services, S3 in EXPO and S4 in Jurong West on the Sunday morning. It was a great experience at EXPO, rushing from 1 end of SG to the other end of SG like how Ps. Kong, Ps. Tan and guest speakers usually rush down to preach in the 2 services in JW & EXPO, and standing in the 1st row at Jurong west. The message by Ps. Kong really leaves a great impact on me, thought I didn't lose everything like Job in the bible, but I was deeply encouraged by the faith and courage of Job, He never give up and he even offer the sacrifices of praise unto the Lord, and that, Lord gave him a double portion. Fellowship with people and went on to the next day.

Monday morning at 7am, head to church for the morning prayer meeting. Slept in the afternoon and head to church again at 6pm for evening prayer meeting. Morning was a powerful session and evening was another powerful session. Was touch by the power of God in the evening pm. Went home for dinner and when I step into the house, my mum told me, that My dad bought the camera already. I was rather shock, but I was thankful to God. My aunt even said, "ah, you went to church and pray right? That's why your Dad bought the camera." I am thankful for what God has done in my life, and giving me such good parents. And indeed, God is good all the time, He is never too late or early, but just in time. Praise the lord!

Finally GCE 'N' level ended, will be waiting for the results to be out in 17 december. In the mean time, I will be spending my holidays by working, enjoying and focusing in serving God and his kingdom.

Yesterday was a blast. Went for ET Zone Overnight Prayer Meeting at Riverwalk. It was my very first overnight prayer meeting and it was just so powerful. A total of 3 sessions, from 10pm-3am. 2nd session was the most powerful, the presence of God came and filled up the whole room, many fell under the power of God, including me. The best part was the last session, because everyone had conquered the night and feel so good to be in the presence of God. I can't wait for the next OPM which will be held in another 2 months time.

Its about 2 weeks that I last updated my blog. GCE 'N' level is 8 days away from now, I'm not fully prepared for the exams, but I am prepared for what is going to happen if I get or don't get through this exams. I just pray that God will knock onto my heart, and whisper into my ears and say, "There is no time left to mingle around, its time to sit down and work." I'm going to do my final update for the next 2 weeks until I am done with my exams. But I will be constantly updating my twitter still.

Went down to Beach Road to look and buy some stuffs last week, I bought a black watch cover and a Sunglasses. left and took a bus down to ION Orchard, went to see Sun & Ps. Kong's shop, Christian Audigier. The prices of the clothes are really Fascinating, and you know what I mean. hahs.

Was called up by NCDCC HQ to help them in the 3rd Unit Drill Instructor Course POP with Tariq. Went there to be a Conducting Warrant. Did slow match and commanding in the parade.

Last Saturday, Sun had a live video chat with everyone all around the world. And it was also the debut of her new song's MTV, Fancy Free.

Ate at the Japanese Restaurant at Jurong West Stadium with Joyce after school on tuesday. It was a satisfying one.

Attended the last lesson of Blogging Cash Course with Tianyi @ RW yesterday and went for make-up Cell group at Joycelyn CG. Quickly rush down to EXPO, met up with SY, brought him to church. And I think it was the best day ever since I came back to church! We were a little late for service, when we went into Hall 8, they are singing the 2nd praise song already. The Ushers brought us to the vacant seats and I thought we will be sitting at the terrace, and guess where they brought us to? It was Charlie, Floor 6th row, very near to the stage. It was a really good seat! I was sitting infront of Keith Coast, and behind a Indonesian Pastor! Thank God for favor! I never ever sat so infront for service before! The sermon by Ps. Kong was powerful, although its a man's message.

Went out of the hall to the area where the conference rooms are, and praise the lord, I got a chance to meet Ps. Kong! It was just so amazing and I was so excited at that point of time. Although time was short, but it was just so blessed! I managed to get a picture with Pastor, and I still can't believe I actually met him.

Just going to briefly update on some happenings last weekend and this entire week.

Last saturday, like every saturday, I attended Cell Group Meeting and stayed for fellowship. Meet up with my Bro and head down to Queensway. He rented a car on friday, and so we had a comfortable ride on his rented Honda through and fro.

Sunday is always the same, Sabbath day for every christian, went to church, had a awesome service with Ps. Phil Pringle from Christian City Church. Enjoyed the night guitar session at Cafe with Nixie, Jialin and Yifei.

Monday was a Teachers' day celebration, got my Bro to send me to school since he rent his car till monday afternoon. Its like my first time going to school by car that my own family member drives. Teachers' Day celebration wasn't as good as previously, Its quite boring this year. Went to study with Fengying after school and walk around JP.

Tuesday was a Teachers' day holiday, went to study with Fenying & Zhimin. We head down to Jurong West Recreation Centre to play badminton. It was good. Followed them and their mum to Mac and eat something before heading home. And when I reach home, Online on FB and realise I forgotten that there's choir practise. Nearly forgotten, but thank God I actually went in the end.

Wednesday, went to school in the morning and meet up with Ernest at JP for dinner at night. Bought a new Surfers Paradise slippers cause the previous one broke, and saw Joshua on the way. Followed him and walk around before Ernest came. Ate at Pepper Lunch, went to White Coffee Town, had some coffee and head home. He gave me a Liverpool Jersey, and its my first every football team jersey.

Friday, school in the morning and went for Blogging Cash Course at Riverwalk. I am really blessed by the course. Going to start marketing on what I want and be ready to persevere till I earn my first US$ 1 in 30days!

Yesterday was special, went to Parc Vista condominium for Amber Subzone outreach event. Attended Cell Group meeting there, saw Brother Ed there, was kind of unexpected. Flew down to JP, designed a cake at JP Icing Room with Huibing and flew down to Fish & Co. Glasshouse next to Parkmall. Celebrated Leon's 23rd Birthday there, and our plan succeeded. He left speechless. Too many surprises.

Was chatting with Samuel on MSN yesterday night to find out more about guitar lessons with Poh, City Harvest Church Music Director, also a worship leader and guitarist. Now, I had a new wish, to buy a Acoustic guitar after CNY 2010 and learn guitar from Poh.

Went to cafe at 10.30am, meet up with Jialin to play guitar and off for service. Pastor Tan preached a powerful sermon, and I am fully convinced by what he preached. Definitely Pastor Tan is one of my favorite preachers in CHC other then Pastor Kong. Went to SAFRA Jurong, had lunch at the Japanese style foodcourt, and went to Jurong Central Park to fellowship. Played several games, and played guitar there. And the best thing was some passer-by actually stop and listen. Played I'm yours with Jialin and eventually the rest of the song was Praise & Worship. Radiate and Because of you.

Tomorrow I'll be taking my GCE 'N' level examinations, do pray for me that I will have wisdom and God will pour his anointing and strength upon me. Going to be busy for the next 3 days. Will update again ASAP. Have a good September holidays!

Today is 23rd August, it is a special day for someone, because its his Birthday! He is Rev.Dr. Kong Hee, the Founder and Senior Pastor of the 27,000 members City Harvest Church Singapore.

Pastor Kong had been a great leader, a spiritual father and a mentor to everyone of us in CHC. Although I was not born in the 1989s when the church just started, but I am thankful that God brought me to CHC when I was in Primary School. Even though I backslide, CHC is not a stranger to me, because CHC is located so near my house and I still watched the Live webcast once in a while. But ever since I am back in church, I never regret, because this is where I was so inspired to do great things for God and His kingdom. Without Ps. Kong, there will be no CHC now. So on this special day of his, I would like to wish Ps. a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and have greater years to come!

Its a long time ever since I update this blog, I'm going to do a short update before I go busy for many things, GCE 'N', NCDCC and church stuffs.

So far, I have been back to CHC, the church where I grew up, not knowing that I have actually been in church for 24 weeks, which is equivalent to about 6months. I was so amazed, having my bag filled with 24 bulletins. And by faith, I believe there are more to come! Amen! 2 weeks ago, It was National Day, and I went out with some classmates to Vivocity.

Last friday, I Passed Out from YHSS NCDCC. So proud that I've finally come to the end of my 4 years service. I'm so honored to be part of the pioneer cadets, and also, the 1st ever WO UDI there. But its not the end, its the start to my new route to serve NCDCC as a CLT in the years to come.

Last week was the SOT Graduation, Congrats to all graduates! I am really inspired to go for SOT, but not now, because I still have to complete my 'O' level first, as it is part of the criterial to enter the course.

City Harvest Church 20th Anniversary

Recently, the church that I have been attending celebrated its 20th Anniversary. The church is no other than City Harvest Church! Last Sunday, services were held at Singapore Indoor Stadium but, not all of its member managed to fit into the stadium, because there are 27,000 members now and SIS can only fit approx about 14,000 people. But Thank God, I am one of those sitting in the 14,000 seats. There are 2 services, 1st is a Thanksgiving service, 2nd is a Celebration service. I stayed through both and its so amazing. :)

And on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, FOP is going on as well. FOP = Festival Of Praise. This year, Rev. Mark Conner is preaching for all 3 days. True Worshippers and Bob Fitts lead us in Praise & Worship. And it is just so amazing. I enjoy all 3 days because I went for all 3 sessions. haha! I know is crazy but its really fun to be there. YAY. :)

Time to update about some recent stuffs. I will update on the most recent event for CHC, Decentralized weekend. This was held last weekend and all the zones will have their own services. Which means, own preacher, musicians, Worship leader, BV , Choir, Ushers, Security and more. And I am in, Edmund Tay Zone! :D We had a combined service with Pastor Zhuang's zone & Victor Zone. It was held at Hall 8. So basically, we owned the whole hall and we are the last service for the entire 16 English services.

So before that, remembered I enter CHC Choir? I had been thinking whether could I serve for that weekend although I am still new. So true enough, A brother from ET Choir asked me if I could serve that services. And without much hesitation, I said a YES! So the day before the service, I went out with my mum to get some stuffs which I need, which is, Cosmetics. Yes, don't be shock. On the day itself, before the service, we got some helps from Santy and some other sisters. We had some vocal warmups, practise the songs, pray and service started! It was total cool to stand on the choir platform! Awesome! And I could say its a breakthrough for me! :D Some pictures to show you guys. :)

I'm back to the mainland from Saint John's Island 3 days ago. ET Castaway was a BLAST! I really enjoyed myself alot, apart from games, I was there to seek God's face. And indeed God didn't disappoint us, he was there and most of us fell under the power of God during the night sessions. Going for ET Castaway was a tough thinking. Sunday, Like every Sunday, went down to church for service! It was Father's day, so the drama team had prepared a drama for all father's and us. Went down to Paul's house at Lakepoint Condo for Buffet Fiesta! There was Performance put up by SOT students and our home grown talents in the Subzone. We then had Buffet and BBQ after that.

Monday, I received a message from a Choir IC that I've passed the choir audition and I'm classified as a Soprano! Praise the lord! I was really happy that I jump out of my chair! Joyce & Seowting got in as well! In the evening, went down to Mediacorp to watch 综艺 Go live! together with some harmonica mates. We were there not to support any idol but, was there to give support to our Harmonica Teacher, Mr Tang Yuen Wai! After the live recording, we went back to Jurong Point, had our dinner at KFC and back home.

Tuesday, went back school to do F&N Coursework from 10am all the way till 3pm with Zhouyan and Jiemin. Went back home to rest, changed and head to Best Coffee shop to look for Seowting and Joyce. We then head down to Church L4 for Choir Practise. It was our first Choir Prac and it was awesome! We learned a performance choir song, called Child of Destiny. It was great and after practise, we had a short briefing. And Girls are required to put on full make-up on stage. And so, in another few weeks time, you will see a total looking Peixuan during service time!

Today, went down to City Hall, meet up with Indigo to practise our drama. And also brainstorm ideas on Malachi group cheer. Went back down to JP with Celine and Benjamin, had dinner at Kopitiam. Saw Amber and Michael! :) Head back home to do camp packing. And I'm done!

And lastly, tomorrow will be ET Castaway! Gonna meet up with Celine and Benjamin for breakfast, head to Fairprice Extra to get some snacks and meet up with CG at 7.15am! This weekend is gonna be great! :) Pray for me as well as the zone yea! Blog again when I'm back!

On Wednesday, my bro rent a car for a day after a few months he gotten his driving license. He offered me a ride to Badminton on Wednesday & to school on Thursday. It was quite scary sitting in, cause you know, baby drivers, I feel no sense of safety! Haha! And as usual, I took pictures and here are they!

Yesterday was a busy day. Went to school for YHHB passing down ceremony. After it ended, went to changed and went down to HTA. Went to the store to return No.1, went off to Boon Lay, met up with some people and off to EXPO! And thank god, we get to sit at Charlie floor and its quite near the stage area! I can see much more clearer there! Praise the lord!

Song of Solomon Part four was with Pastor Tan. It was totally awesome. After preaching, we sang a worship song, and holy spirit starts to pour.. The presence of God was really strong that my legs starts to shiver. Pastor calls for a Altar Call, for those who wants to rise up to serve god and be a servant to god's kingdom. and I walk out of my seat, took a step of faith and went forward. To my surprise, those in W320 who went for SOS all went out of their seats! Praise the lord!

During the Altar call, we said a prayer and Pastor Tan began to lay hands on people and people starts to fall under the power of god. Other Pastor also went forward to lay hands on people because there is alot of people going forward. And so, I waited for my turn and finally, its my turn! A Security ushered me to the front, and it is really infront to the max! Pastor Tan was on stage, telling the congregation that the worship song will continue while they continue to minister the people who came forward. Pastor then walk down the stairs and walk towards me, prayed for me and lay hands on me! I am really greatly blessed that night, firstly, great preaching & sharing, secondly, a anointed Pastor laying hands on me. Praise the lord!

And soon, City Harvest Church is going have PRAYER 365! Prayer 365 is a 365 days prayer meeting. It will be from 1 July 2009 all the way till 30 June 2010 at The riverwalk & JW st 91. There will be morning prayer meetings from 7am-8am, evening prayer meetings from 8pm-9pm and lastly, Overnight prayer meetings, there will be 3 prayer slots for overnight pm, 9pm-3am, 10pm-4am, 11pm-5am. And this is a event happening every single day. So brother & sisters of Christ! Lets get ourself prepared for a year of prayer! I believe this year is going to be a year of breakthru! Praise the lord! :)

This week was a busy week. Had been going for Morning & Evening Prayer Meetings. I only missed 1 PM, which is the wednesday morning PM, cause I over slept and by the time I woke up, it was already 9am.

And in the previous post, I mentioned that I would be going for the CHC Choir Ministry Audition on Tuesday. And yes, I went for it, together with Seowting & Joyce. We were given numbers, and were split into groups of 6 or 7. I was separated from them, I went to another group. We were indicated to sing 2 songs, Shout it out loud & This is our god. And amazingly, it was easier and less stressful compared to the Musos BV Audition. And here is how the Audition goes. We went in as a group, we were asked to sing the chorus of Shout it out loud followed by This is our god. My group was then asked to sing in spirits, meaning singing in tongues or A.K.A singing a new song to god, with the rythem of This is our god. Then one by one, we do our individual pitching together with the keyboard. And praise the lord, everthing was successful for me! The results of whether am I in the choir will be out in 2 weeks time.

Yesterday, I went for the churchwide bible study on Song of solomon. It was part three, conducted by Pastor Kong. It was awesome. As usual, presence of god was super strong that night. And today, I went to Riverwalk for Zone prayer meeting and also for the camp briefing. It was great, I'm quite excited for the Camp Castaway which will be held at Saint John's Island! After the Zone PM and camp briefing, rush down to EXPO for celebrity weekend service. It was totally awesome! It was totally like a concert! Celebrities like FIR, Vanness Wu, Niu nai and many more were there to perform and shared their personal experiences with god. It was amazing. I was truly touched by many wonderful testimonials by them.

After the service, we went to Live House at the conference rooms, where we can be up-close with the celebrities, it was really crowded, I stood outside together with Jonathan, seeing the celebrities going in and out of the conference rooms. We also talked to Brother Edmund, our Zone supervisor, while we were outside the rooms. While I was outside the conference rooms, Saw Pastor Audrey with her son! And I think she forgotten who am I, because she only met me once, which was during the part 1 of SOS.

I started to get alittle bored due to the huge crowd, so Jon, me & Jialing went walking around and see if we can get to see Pastor Kong. Which I know is impossible, a percentage of 10% out of 100% to see him close-up. We walked back to conference room to see if the rest of them are done with seeing all the celebrities and we saw Pastor Tan. I got excited, took my camera out, followed him, walked towards him and asked whether can I take a picture with him. And Yes! I got a picture taken with Pastor Tan! Praise the lord! (Credits to Jialing who took the photo.) It was my 1st picture taken with a Pastor. And it was my 2nd picture taken with someone who is so anoited and on fire for god!

To me, Its one of my best day ever! I'm prayer hard that I can have the chance to take picture with all the CHC Pastors & Leaders! I shall end my post, here is some pictures to share!

The previous post I mention that I will be going Musos Recruitment Audition today. I went for it after service today. Long before today, Seow Ting and I was discussing on who will be the judges. And we were thinking could it be Sister Annabel? She is a worship leader in CHC. And we are quite excited on that. Today after service, Me, Seow ting & Joyce, we went up to Level 4 and waited. Guess what? WE SAW SISTER ANNABEL! We were than thinking, oh no, our guess are right? HAHA! And indeed, its Annabel. We were quite nervous. We were asked to prepare 1 praise song & 1 worship song. We can also prepare a secular song if we want to incase. We chat with Brother Roy, a BV, and ask some questions while waiting. Joyce went in first, followed by me & Seow Ting.

When it was my turn, I give it my best shot. I went in, I smile my way in. I first sang Sing, Sing, Sing followed by This is our god. I was asked to sing 1 more, so I sang I'm yours by Jason Mraz. Sister Annabel commented that I have the tone but have to be more experienced. I understand that because imagine if you were asked to perform infront of the whole CHC congregation as a BV! And the whole CHC Congregation is about 27,000 people! So she asked me to come back for another audition for the Choir Ministry on Tuesday. I was like, Shock! Choir Ministry! I have ever tought of joining that ministry! So I'm quite excited and gonna sing much tomorrow to get myself prepared yea! Pray for me! :)

It was held on 30may at Basic Rescue Training Centre @ Civil Defence Academy. I was involved in the parade segment as a Reserve RSM & Flag Bearer. My cadets and my OC were there to watch. Thats all for pictures! I was so excited every friday this june. The reason is because there is Churchwide Bible Study on Song of solomon every friday at EXPO! And on the 1st session, it was my first time knowing that Pastor Kong had wrote a Song! And on that day, we sang the song. It was a beautiful Worship song. I will share the lyrics at the end of this post. Pastor Kong & Pastor Tan took turns to preach SOS. 1st session was with Pastor Kong & 2nd was with Pastor Tan. It was totally AWESOME! Talking about church, I signed up for MUSOS Recruitment, and this weekend is the Audition! Me, Seowting & Joyce signed up for Back-up Vocalist. We tick the audtion slot for today, 6pm. We reached CHC @ JW and Amber text ST saying our Audition had been slot by the service we are attending. So for Service 4, it will be at 3pm tomorrow. This week is a busy week. Went down to BRTC @ CDA after school for NCDCC Day Parade training on monday & tuesday. And on wednesday, I was down with fever, the highest it went was 38.4 I ended up seeing a doctor in the afternoon, and the doc said that my fever was caused by sore throat. I was given antibiotic and panadols, I was made to wear a mask in the clinic. It was so uncomfortable.

I'm back for an update on the happenings yesterday and today! Yesterday was the 1st Full-dress Rehearsal for the NCDCC Day Parade, it was held at BRTC. I am a reserve RSM & Flag Bearer, so I'm not called for any training for the RSM spot, so I spend my whole training on Flag party. It was AWESOME. It was my 1st time seeing our unit flag! It was soooo nice! My cadets were so excited too! And finally, I saw them doing their drills! I can say that I AM SUPER PROUD OF THEM! 1st ever Precision Drill Squad and part of them were from Yuhua! :) We got a free NCDCC Day Parade T-shirt. There were 5 colours, and the Flag Party got the blue colour ones. And I wore my UDI Lanyard together with the rest of the UDI yesterday. 1st time on No.1 Uniform.

And Today, I attended Rev. Mike Connell service. It was a deliverance service. I went down to JW early to sign up for attributes Get more membership card, Cause I think that it is a really great deal, I only pay $20 and I got so much benefits. There will be pictures below showing whats in the goodie bag. Went down to book seats and service started. Rev. Mike Connell started by praying and laying hands on people. The 1st to get lay hand was my cellgroup leader, AMBER! She was so blessed, she got lay hands TWICE! How cool is that! And some people started to Cry, scream & shout cause they got some unclean spirit in them, and Rev. Mike Connell went around to pray & deliver those people. He didn't preached much, just a little verses & scriptures. He then called for Altar Call, many responded, PTL. And then, he called for those who wants to get prayed and lay hands. I was hesitating, but at last, I went down. There were alot of people, so CGL & Pastor walked around to pray for us as well. A sister prayed for me, I believe she is a CGL, and she lay hands on me. And it was my 1st time in my whole life, getting lay hands. PTL. It was a really good experience. :)

I'm back on blogging. Last week was busy with my exams. And results were out today, but not the actual one stated on my report book. Though not as good as others, but I'm satisfied with a pass. Got to really really work even harder as 'N' level comes nearer. Shall update about some recent and interesting stuffs which come pass.

My late grandfather's sister passed away few days ago. So my dad & mum decided to go down to the funeral to pay our last respect. So, me and my brother followed. The funeral was at Aljunied. So dad decided to take a taxi down. We went to CHC side gate to flag for a taxi, and guess what, A LIMOUSINE stop infront of us. We all were like, OH NO, DAD'S POCKET IS GONNA BURN A HOLE! And when we board the taxi, the starting rate was $5! Nearly double price for a normal taxi! But I feel so 'high class' sitting in. haha! Here's the taxi!

So we reached there and my grandmother, some aunts and uncle were there as well. Nothing much was done there, just sit down one corner and stone. And my dad explained to me about this long long banner that some funeral have. My dad said it can be as long as 100m and it symbolise something. He also mention that only Gang would send this if there is a funeral. So I was like, Thank god my grandfather's funeral doesn't have this! And here comes the interesting part. Because one of my last grandfather sister's son is a former gang member, so he inform only 3 people cause he doesn't want to cause a big crowd I guess. But who knows, 3 spreaded to almost the entire gang, and nearly 100 over people, from young to old came! It was really really scary, they have piercing on their faces and tattoos on their bodies! And they shout this 'slogan', which my dad told me that it was their gang name, and they bowed 3 times and left.

And after 3minutes, siren sounded, Police came! Gosh, just because they shouted and police came? And on addition, 2 Fire bike and a PL came! Cause I guess someone complain that something is burning but they didn't realise it was the funeral, where they burned those houses for the deceased. haha! Here some photos taken.

Yesterday was marking day, So I went out with BUTTONS CREW! But sadly, without Wilfred. We went to IMM, walk around, enjoy ourselves and went to have some food. Shan't elaborate much, because PICTURES SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORD!

After meeting the BUTTONS CREW, I stayed in IMM till 6pm and met up with the CGC and helpers. We had a great time of fellowship and discussing about some stuffs. :)

And school was fine today, Did the NE quiz during mother tongue period. And here is my certificate of the quiz! I'm a Senior Builder and I score 269,000. Woohoo! Praise the lord!

After school, I went to Jurong Point which Bay Louis, Hwee Kang, Jess & Nic. Had Yogurt @ Yogurt Place. SATISFACTION! :) We walked around JP2 and we went to Harris, a book store. I was looking around to look for bibles, only saw good news bible. And here comes another interesting thing! Saw this SUPER HUGE & THICK HOLY BIBLE on the rack. And it cost around $80. Imagine you bring this bible to service. Man, you will be the center of attraction!

And yea, that's all for today! Will update my blog soon. And I'm so excited cause this week is DELIVERANCE WEEK! And Rev. Mike Connell is coming! Super Excited yea! And there is this MUSOS RECRUITMENT in CHC, it is looking for talented musicians and Back-up Vocalist to form a Teenage Band & Children Band. And so, I am participated in BV! Still practising my guitar and if possible, I would join guitar too! :) And here is a wonderful thing to share! You guys should know I'm on Twitter and more or less most CHC Leaders were on Twitter as well. And so, I followed Rev. Dr. Kong Hee on twitter, and recently, I received a email stating that PASTOR KONG IS FOLLOWING ME! Praise the lord! It is a fulfilling day today. Went for Cell group Meeting at CM place, and rush off to church for Pastor Kong's Evangelistic meeting. Thank god when I was about to reach the bus stop, bus 241 came.I ran my way to chase the bus. And eventually, I caught it. :) Reached church, took lift down to auditorium, when I went in, it was offering time. And after Pastor Tan shares the offering message, I was ushered down to a front seat! For the 1st time in Jurong West service, seating at the middle section and very near to the stage. And here comes the exciting part, Toro, former member of Taiwan boy band Energy came to perform. He shared his testimony to the congregation. Pastor Kong then preached and shared. The service was just awesome. After service ended, I quickly rush up to the lift to avoid big crowd. While I was walking out of the gate, saw Pastor Kong in car going to EXPO. For the 1st time in my life, saw pastor close up. Cool. Went back to CM's place, fellowship and shared what I learned at service. And went back after that.

Alright, thats all for today. Gonna sleep early, and wake up early tomorrow to prepare for Dr. Kim Sung Hae's Service at Jurong West! Ciao!

Haven't been updating my blog for quite a while. Many interesting things happened, but shan't elaborate too much before my blog is flooded with all the words. Had been busy with my mid-year exams. I could say that I really struggle alot this time round, I just couldn't get myself to study. Indeed I am lack of self-discipline & passion in studying. Perhaps I should put in the passion I have towards church into my studies.

Well last month, my 1year and 11months old Sony Ericsson W850i phone died. And thank god, it revived for like 2 days before it was dead officially. And I spend those times retrieving some phone numbers which wasn't saved into my Sim card.

And on Monday, my dad brought me to Jurong Point's Singtel shop. Before hand, I already told him that I wanted a Samsung Omnia 8gb, I even prayed for that phone, cause I REALLY REALLY WANT IT! So we went there, and we check out the price of omnia, man, it was $448! And I seen it on singtel's website saying it cost only $348. Obviously, it cheated my feelings. BUT, I still insisted on buying an Omnia, because the functions are really really good! So, we walk around and continue looking at other phones. My dad told me to get another phone, like sony ericsson. And I immediately said NO. Well, the 1st SE phone leaves me a bad impression. So I saw this newly launched, samsung star. It was $396. So I told my dad, I can get samsung star instead. And hilariously, my dad told me after looking at the price, "aiyah, Omnia is just $50 more than Samsung star. Ok la, just get the omnia." Then I was like, PRAISE THE LORD!!! MY PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED! So we went to the counter, and thank god I'm eligible for the 21months upgrade! So the person went in, took the omnia out and I was like, "WAHHHH.." Tried out the omnia on the spot, it was so damm cool! My dad bought the screen protector for me as well! The phone had its internal memory of 8GB, BUT, praise the lord, there is a free 8GB memory card as well! So in total, there is 16GB! More then I expected! God indeed is a god of more than enough! AMEN!

Other than a new phone, I'm going to participate in the TRADITIONAL TAEKWONDO TOURNAMENT 2009 organized by Singapore Taekwondo Academy. I will be sending my forms for the Sparring category. If I am in, I will be sparring against females, black belt 1st degree - 3rd degree, and hopefully, medium weight category. I am currently praying and waiting for the latest news whether am I in for the junior or senior category, Praying for junior category of course, If I were to be in senior category, I will surely be WHACK! So Pray for me! :)

Started the day wonderfully. Went out early to get my watch repaired. It was so expensive, just for that thin metal, it cost me $4. Wow. Met up with Cell Group at Boon Lay MRT and off we go to EXPO. Reached about 4.30pm and there was so many people already! We walk to Hall 8, entered early, but couldn't get the front seats. Was quite disappointed. Started off with a pre-service prayer meeting. Praise & Worship was so awesome. Really inspired to be a Guitarist and lead singer! Praise the lord!

Dr. Stephen Munsey was invited to CHC to preach this week. The way he preached was so unbelievable! It was simply just like a drama, but without props and other actors, JUST HIMSELF! Can you believe it? The story was taken from The Book Of Hosea, he managed to changed alittle here and there, but we all get the message that he is trying to convey to us. Dr.Stephan Munsey is just so awesome. I'm so happy and excited that I'm attending another session TOMORROW! You will never regret going!

It's a long time since I last blogged. Last week was the most fun-filled week I had. I shall start off with my friday last week.

Met up with Fengying & Zhimin at JWRC for a swim after school. Went down to nanyang central to get some snacks after the swim. We went to BLK 642 area, had snacks while chit chatting. It was so awesome. It has been a long while since we chatted. haha. After snack, we had a cam-whore session, if you had added me on facebook, you will see all the fun-filled pictures we took under blk 642. The quality was rather bad, I used my W850i to take them, as I forget to bring along my cam. Such a waste. =x Went to pioneer mall to walk around and off we go. Went to blk 705 to see hows TKD club. Proceed to saturday, Went for CG @ Chin meng's place, helped out in preparing refreshments, CG got discipled by Amber due to the lack of love, but I could say it's a good experience and also a lesson to learn. Aftermath, rush down to EXPO for service. Met up with Shengyong, brought him there, and it's his first time. Hoho. Service was preached by Rev.Dr John Avanzini. He is one of the inspiring mentor to CHC, those who were at service will understand what I meant. =) Before service started, I was getting ready at my seat and guess who I saw? PASTOR AUDREY! Yes! Many have know why am I so excited about meeting Pastor Audrey. =) Service started, and it was really awesome. Ended off with Altar call, but sadly, Shengyong didn't go. Directly after service, I texted Pastor Audrey, but couldn't meet up with her, cause I have to go off early yea. Well, the day will come! EXCITED FOR THE DAY!!

Sunday, Went down to Plaza Singapura, Met up with Huibing, eventually and expected, saw Joanne & Cat. Watched Leon's Performance, and walk around PS for 4 hours before catching Garett's Performance. Both me & Huibing were like,"what is the time now? When are we going to stop walking and go home." haha! After Garett's performance, went to Gelare, had some food, said goodbye and off home. Finally, Today! Went to school in the morning, followed YHHB for their SYF Central judging at Republic Polythecnic. They played 2 choice pieces, Waltzer & Riverdance. Waltzer was superb! Saw many familiar faces there. =) There's a total of 8 schools participated, and when the result was out. IT WAS A TOTAL SHOCK! YHHB was the first to be announce, we got Silver, and everyone was like "sigh". BUT! The most shocking news is, ALL 8 SCHOOLS GOT SILVER! EVEN NJC, who got Gold with honor 2 years back. Well, but everyone was so relieved that at least everyone are the same. =) BUT! We will be back in another 2 years! Yea man.

After which, went to 496 for lunch with Edmund & Veronica. Off to JE Library after lunch, Met up with Wilfred, Chongwei & Jinkiat. We were suppose to STUDY. But ended up playing. LOL! The guys were playing POKEMON. How childish? hahah! Can't stop them. We went to IMM, ate at Kopitiam, and THANKS WILFRED FOR THE TREAT! Walk around for awhile, and off we went back.

Back to blog about recent happenings in my life. Went to get a hair cut @ Gek poh shopping centre, went to the usual shop I always goes. So my hair is kind of short now, but it is surely going to grow back as long as before after my exams. Then off to JP and met up with CG friends and took bus to for Paul's house for cell group meeting on Saturday. It was the last combined cell group with W320a & W320b. It was the best moment in my cell group life I guess. I did drop tears when we gave each other a hug as a thank you and all the best because we are multiplying. It was a happy occasion but sad because we are leaving each other. Had Sushi making after that, but I went off after watching 'kawaii kaizer' performing how to make a sushi. HAHA!

Met up with Brentha, Eugene Pung, Edmund, Marjorie & Poiwong for lunch @ Subway. Banhock & Lihui came after that. Chat and took alot of funny pictures together. Me, Edmund, Poiwong & Lihui went to walk around Jurong Point. We went to The Bluez @ JP1 first, as Edmund wanted to get his ear studs. I was looking at the Display, I saw this very nice cross pendant. So I told myself, I should get it! hehe. But didn't get it on Saturday. Walk around and met up with Shinyi, and continue to walk around again. Left JP with Edmund and bus-ed home.

Woke up on Sunday, bath & packed my stuffs to get ready for service. Went to JP to get the very nice cross pendent I saw on Saturday, was fully satisfied. =) Bus-ed down to CHC and went for service. It was the Finale for the relationship series this year, the drama was extremely funny, I laughed till my jaws dropped and my stomach hurts! haha! Went up to cafe for DONUT PARTY! with other cell groups in ET zone. Had games, and ate the donuts that are bought from donut empire @ JP2! Guess what? I ate Simpson again. haha! So hint hint! You should know which donut to get for me when I want to eat! XD Had a drink @ BEST and went back first, wasn't feeling well since the morning. Keep on sneezing and sneezing, my 'tap' in my noise has a problem too, 'water' keep flowing out! I used a total of 3 packets of tissue since the service ended till night!

Went to Courts @ JP with my family to get a fan. Cause we are lacking of fan in the rooms. haha! So currently I uses the air-con once I reach home in my own room. O.O My dad ended up looking for new TV as well, he took such a long time, so I went down to yogurt place and gotten myself a cup of yogurt ice-cream. Was super yummy! Ended up buying a 42" Plasma TV & 2 New fan. I'm so excited about the TV, Cause it's a DOUBLE upgrade of our current TV compared to the new one. =) Went to Jurong Police HQ and get me & my Dad's IC address changed, went back home by Taxi, cause bus was super slow.

Didn't attend school today, was really down with Flu & Sore throat. Sometimes, it causes me to cough too. =( But, positively, its always better to get sick before the exams, if not, if I were to get sick during the exams period, its going to bad.
